RECYCLED CULLET: IMPACT AND USAGE – EUROPE – ADVANCED TRAINING
13 - 14 October 2026
09:00 - 17:30 CET
Europe (location to be announced)
Unlock the value of recycled glass while managing quality and risk.
Cullet reduces energy use and emissions, but can introduce instability and defects if not managed well. This course teaches you how to inspect, clean, and optimize cullet streams, and how cullet use affects melting and furnace performance.
You should attend if you are interested in:
- Cullet Quality & Risk
- Types of cullet and contamination sources
- Visual inspection and acceptance criteria
- Plant-return vs. post-consumer management
- System Impact
- Influence on energy, foaming, color, and furnace wear
- Cullet processing and cleaning technologies
- US recycling policies and infrastructure overview
What you take away:
- Hands-on experience to know how to inspect and assess cullet streams
- Identify risks that can impact melting or product quality
- Improve cullet handling and reduce variability
- Understand how recycling practices shape what’s available
Level of seniority
This training is meant for individuals who utilize internal or post-consumer cullet at their production facility or are involved processing cullet. That includes those who have ownership of cullet operations, supply, procurement, and engineering.
